The Senior Director, Campaign Management is a highly effective and visible “big thinker” project leader, responsible for strategically managing the execution of high profile, multi-million dollar, compelling and customer-centric 360 campaigns, while being hands on and tactical as needed. Experience in the Retail industry working on Holiday campaigns is a must.

 

This role requires exceptional planning, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, and people development skills. It will also require leadership through change, and the ability to interface and collaborate regularly with marketing and cross functional senior leaders to help build alignment against business objectives and priorities.

  • Become the organization’s go-to person for the campaign
  • Oversee the management of strategy development through creative execution with an understanding of connectivity points along the way and create timelines accordingly
  • Partner with marketing and strategy leads to build long-term campaign planning and strategic initiatives
  • Act as a leader and strategic advisor when working with internal and external partners to develop the project plan
  • Strong executive presence and ability to have honest, direct conversations to enable smart and timely decision making to move the ball forward
  • Understand the brands’ key business objectives. Keep up with evolving needs and matters directly affecting the business
  • Possibility of managing partnerships with external agencies and vendors 

Overall team support

  • Lead development and execution of work at all stages to ensure it meets internal client expectations and business objectives
  • Excellent people leader who can motivate and inspire across the organization and lead and inspire day-to-day management of the campaign
  • Deliver with and mentor project teams to produce great work on time and on budget
  • Attend internal team status meetings to deliver opinions and updates of latest project trajectories, statuses, and ensure PM team actions
  • Astute governance of budget, staffing, resourcing and timelines for the teams at large
  • Help to foster an innovative, positive and solution-oriented environment aimed at always finding a way to support great ideas that will move the brand and business forward

 Workflow optimization support

  • Help to drive improvements of current internal systems and ways of working; change manage with senior leadership as needed
  • In partnership with creative team, continue to look for ways to optimize from both a quality and costs standpoint
  • Support with problem solving issues that develop around production workflow needs
  • Communicate process developments and support changes in ways of working as they come 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent
  • At least 10+ years’ experience leading and managing marketing centric projects with experience in the retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, and an ability to use the right method for the task and situation and adapt as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to tailor to all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership skills, with the proven ability to coordinate team members across teams and locations
  • This role will be primarily on-site in our client’s NY office
