About the role
ICP is looking for an energetic, dynamic and organized professional to join our team as a People Partner in our Mumbai office. This multi-faceted role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our APAC region, understanding & interpreting stakeholder needs across our practices and functional support areas, and working with the broader People team to ensure we deliver against them globally.
Acting as a trusted advisor, you will work closely with our leadership and management teams to ensure their needs are well understood and our People & Culture agenda delivers against them. You will support the full employee lifecycle, drive organizational effectiveness, champion culture, lead and embed core people processes, and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen our talent capabilities and operational excellence. Your work will also extend to employee relations, engagement, and leadership development, contributing directly to a thriving, inclusive, and high‑performance environment. You will solicit and share feedback to drive continuous improvement, as well as take the lead on or support defined projects within the global people plan. The People Partner will also preserve our coveted ICP culture of engagement, inclusivity and belonging.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership & Organizational Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by offering forward‑looking insights, data‑driven recommendations, and proactive solutions across all people‑related matters. Execute workforce plans within the APAC region that anticipate business needs, drive organizational effectiveness, and support sustained growth. Influence and shape organizational design, change management efforts, and scaling strategies to ensure structures, capabilities, and culture evolve with business demands.
People Strategy Alignment: Provide strategic thought leadership by partnering closely with business leaders to deeply understand their priorities, challenges, and long‑term goals. Translate these insights into integrated people strategies, ensuring talent, culture, and organizational initiatives enable the business to achieve its desired outcomes.
Talent & Capability Development: Partner with leaders and Talent Acquisition to forecast future talent needs, strengthen pipelines, and ensure a high‑performing, diverse workforce. Guide succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing that builds long‑term organizational bench strength.
Employee Relations & Risk Mitigation: Navigate complex employee relations matters with sound judgment, balancing business priorities with legal, ethical, and people considerations. Advise leaders on policy interpretation, performance management, and conflict resolution to reduce organizational risk and support fair, consistent decision‑making. Ensure compliance with employment laws and global standards while anticipating emerging risks.
Program Execution & Operational Excellence: Partner cross‑functionally with SLT, TA, and the People team to deliver seamless execution of people programs. Lead or contribute to global HR initiatives, ensuring consistent implementation and strong local adoption. Continuously evaluate HR processes and recommend improvements that enhance agility, scalability, and employee experience.

Serve as a connector between regional teams and leadership to share insights, escalate concerns, and improve process consistency where possible.
Employee Support & Onboarding: Act as a daily resource for leaders and their teams.
