About the role
We are seeking a skilled D365 Functional Consultant specializing in Finance, SCM, and Retail to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Dynamics 365 implementations and a proven track record of successful project delivery in complex business environments.
Essential Functions
- Lead end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance, SCM, and Retail modules
- Collaborate with clients to gather, document, and analyse business requirements, ensuring alignment with system functionalities
- Design and deliver customized solutions, incorporating best practices and industry standards
- Prepare and maintain Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), and other project documentation
- Facilitate integrations with legacy systems and third-party applications, ensuring seamless operations
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user training
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate users and stakeholders on new system features and capabilities
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and project alignment
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success and client satisfaction
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 implementations, with expertise in Finance, SCM, and Retail modules
- Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions using Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Strong understanding of integration strategies and tools, including Azure services
- Experience with data migration, system customization, and configuration
- Comprehensive knowledge of business processes across industries such as retail, manufacturing, and supply chain
- Exceptional client handling and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Experience in creating and delivering user training programs and documentation
- Proficiency in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven approach
- Master’s degree preferred; certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations are a plus
