About the role

  • As a D365 Finance Lead with deep expertise in the manufacturing and production industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance workstream in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, lead functional consultants, and ensure alignment of the finance solution with overall project goals—particularly for clients in the manufacturing domain.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the finance workstream in D365 F&O implementations, with a focus on manufacturing/production industry clients
  • Analyze complex business processes related to finance and cost accounting and translate them into D365 F&O functional designs
  • Configure and implement finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Cost Accounting
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain leads to ensure finance integration across production and inventory processes
  • Manage and mentor finance consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
  • Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and prepare functional design documents for customization requirements
  • Lead UAT sessions, cutover planning, and support go-live and post-go-live stabilization activities
  • Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and solution refinement
  • Engage with global teams and participate in solution reviews, status meetings, and steering committees


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Dynamics AX and Dynamics 365 implementations, with expertise in Finance as a requirement and preferrably Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
  • Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Basic understanding of integration strategies and tools, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and other Microsoft services
  • Hands-on experience with data migration, system customization, and functional configuration activities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business processes across industries such as manufacturing and supply chain / distribution oriented companies.
  • Exceptional client-facing and communication skills with demonstrated success in managing stakeholder expectations at all levels
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset

• MB-310: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant
