About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant / Solution Architect – Retail & eCommerce to join our team The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail & POS), business process optimization, and end-to-end solution design, along with eCommerce expertise

Job Type: Full-Time

Essential Functions  

• Lead end-to-end implementations of D365 Commerce, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Retail, POS, eCommerce, and omnichannel operations
• Design and configure D365 Retail & Commerce functionalities, including pricing, promotions, loyalty programs, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Define and implement business process improvements for store operations, customer engagement, and omnichannel retail strategies
• Work closely with technical teams to develop integrations with ERP, payment gateways, eCommerce platforms, and external applications
• Provide functional leadership, guiding teams through solution design, system configuration, and data migration
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and Microsoft guidelines
• Conduct user training, workshops, and UAT sessions to ensure seamless system adoption
• Troubleshoot business process challenges, recommending solutions to improve efficiency and performance
• Stay updated on Microsoft’s latest feature releases, industry trends, and retail best practices
• Support store setup, store migrations, and post-implementation hyper care
• Work with global teams, guiding them on issue resolution and best practices
• Create end-user documentation and onboarding plans for new retail and eCommerce solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 10-12 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX Retail module, with at least 3 years of expertise in Dynamics 365 Commerce
• Must have performed at least two full lifecycle implementations of D365 Commerce / AX 2012 Retail implementations
• Hands-on experience in the Retail, Commerce, and eCommerce industry, with a strong understanding of ERP system value flows
• Expertise in POS solutions, eCommerce, omnichannel commerce, order management, and customer experience optimization
• Hands-on experience with Retail Server, Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), and Retail SDK
• Deep understanding of inventory management, pricing, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Proven ability to design, configure, and optimize D365 Retail modules for large-scale enterprises
• Experience integrating D365 Commerce with ERP, payment gateways, tax ISVs, and third-party applications
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant Associate certification preferred
• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel industries is a plus
• Strong experience in client interactions with the ability to set and manage stakeholder expectations
