About the role
- As a Bid / Pursuit Management Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the organization’s growth by leading end-to-end RFP, RFI, and proposal management for enterprise IT and ERP engagements, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions.
Essential Functions
- To be part of pursuit team to Manage the end-to-end RFP/RFI/proposal response process, ensuring timely submission and full compliance with client requirements
- Coordinate and consolidate inputs from Sales, Pre-Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams to create winning proposals
- Develop, organize, and maintain a structured bid content library, including reusable material, case studies, and standard templates
- Monitor and track submission deadlines, clarifications, and version control to ensure alignment with internal governance processes and client expectations
- Draft, edit, and refine proposal content specifically tailored to Microsoft ERP solutions, including Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Customer Engagement (CE)
- Translate complex technical information from subject matter experts into clear, compelling, and client-focused language. • Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and formatting across all proposal submissions
- Prepare supporting collateral such as executive summaries, capability decks, value propositions, and client case studies
- Excellent time management / prioritization skills
- Forensic attention to detail and meticulous proofreading skills
- Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Proposal Manager against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required
Tools & Documentation
- Produce professional, high-quality documents, presentations, and visuals using MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and other relevant tools
- Apply branding guidelines, style standards, and proposal best practices to ensure a polished and professional finish. Collaboration & Governance
- Collaborate closely with the Sales, Global PMO and Pursuit Management teams to ensure proposal alignment with organizational strategy and positioning
- Support internal review cycles, approvals, and quality assurance processes before submission
- Provide reporting and insights on bid pipeline status, win/loss analysis, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of proven experience in bid management, proposal writing, or pursuit coordination within IT/ERP services
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O and CE modules) and broader ERP solution landscapes
- Demonstrated experience in preparing responses to large-scale RFPs/RFIs in ERP and technology domains
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and respond effectively to various types of RFPs/RFIs
- Excellent written communication, editing, and storytelling skills with emphasis on clarity, precision, and persuasiveness
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with proven capacity to handle multiple deadlines in parallel
- Must have advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Visio, with additional experience in proposal tools (e.g., SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Excel)
- Ability to work collaboratively across diverse technical and business teams with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Partners or IT consulting firms
- Familiarity with proposal automation tools, bid management platforms, or content libraries
- Professional certification such as APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) or equivalent will be an added advantage
