About the role

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dynamics AX 2012, with expertise in Supply Chain, Distribution, and Retail verticals. This role requires deep technical and functional knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to lead large-scale implementations and enhancements for enterprise clients. 

Essential Functions

• Provide leadership in the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce solutions
• Conduct gap/fit analysis to assess client requirements and recommend best-fit solutions 
• Lead architecture discussions and strategy sessions to define implementation roadmaps and system enhancements 
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Dynamics 365 environments using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps 
• Develop and implement Power Platform solutions to extend Dynamics 365 capabilities 
• Guide development teams in customizing and extending Dynamics 365 using X++ 
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business needs 
• Lead proof-of-concept (POC) development for new features and integrations 
• Mentor junior consultants and team members in best practices for Dynamics 365 architecture and development 
• Support production environments, troubleshooting critical issues and mitigating business impact 
• Stay updated with emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend adoption where applicable 

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a techno-functional Solution Architect with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AX 2012 
• Deep expertise in Supply Chain, Distribution, and Retail verticals 
• Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O and Commerce, including deployment and configuration using LCS and Azure DevOps 
• Proficiency in X++ and Power Platform development 
• Experience leading large-scale implementations and enhancements of Dynamics 365 
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, workstreams, and stakeholders effectively 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to mentor and train team members on Dynamics 365 best practices 
• Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate, and Dynamics 365 Commerce Functional Consultant Associate are preferred  
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new programming languages, frameworks, and development practices
• Experience in presales is a plus
• Excellent multitasking abilities with the capability to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience working with Agile software development patterns and practices 
• Previous experience in mentoring junior team members and leading process improvement initiatives
