CFO Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate strategic growth opportunities for the company
• Full oversight of budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles within the organization.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and P&L statements.
• Present financial analysis to senior management, and the board of directors.
• Handle sensitive information with honesty and integrity.
• Assist the founding members in funding, investment, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Perform the duties and responsibilities of the company financial controller.
• Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
• Work alongside executive management to support business strategy and development.
• Setting up bank accounts and managing banking relationships.
• Advising company managers on operations activities based on knowledge of the underlying business.

CFO Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business or Accounting.
• A high aptitude for math - proficiency with financial modelling and forecasting.
• Demonstrated levels of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
• Experience leading a team or department.
• Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges.
• Communicate effectively as a member of the leadership team
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in startups, entrepreneurship, business consulting or investment banking.

CFO Skills:

• You are a spreadsheet wizard.
• Knowledge of latest accounting and finance technology developments.
• A deep understanding of industry insights and relevant financial KPIs.
• You have the ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships.
• You are an excellent communicator.
• You work well independently and take initiative.
• Flawless technical skill (ie ACCA).

• If you have passion and interest in video games / esports.
• You are familiar with tools like: Xero, Quickbooks, Trello, Discord
• You have founded your own company, side hustle or have experience working in startups.
• You’ve competed in any game professionally or semi-professionally before.
