Senior Audit Assistant
Incline P&C Group is currently looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Audit Assistant to join our Audit team. The successful candidate will play a key role in organizing, preparing, and coordinating program audits conducted by our Regulatory Audit department.
This position entails a comprehensive range of responsibilities, including the tracking and receipt of audit request items, ensuring thoughtful and accurate documentation, and managing the downloads of audit files reviewed by the auditors. The role requires maintaining timely and effective communication with the General Agent (GA) or the programs undergoing audits.
This is a full-time position that offers a blend of in-office and two remote workdays a week. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
· Assist and support the auditors with their requirements for conducting bi-annual Audits of GAs.
· Prepare and maintain audit schedules for upcoming Audits.
· Distribute the Audit Request Letter for upcoming Audits and follow up for retrieval of all required documentation, requests, receipts, follow-up, coordination, and dissemination.
· Communicate with internal departments about emphasis and concerns with regards to upcoming Audits and convey to auditors.
· Organize and continually maintain department trackers.
· Download complete copies of the claims and underwriting files of each audit conducted.
· Complete various other tasks to support the audit team.
Required Skills:
· Ability to work with the auditors and provide continued assistance with the regulatory audits.
· Capability to prioritize tasks and possess strong attention to detail.
· Exhibit effective communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to communicate within the organization and with clients at all levels.
· Exercise an analytical mindset to help improve and make processes more efficient.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or associate degree is preferred
· Previous coordinating and or administrative experience
