As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and overseeing the QA process for our platform, starting with hands-on testing responsibilities and evolving into a leadership role as the team expands. Responsibilities:
QA Execution & Automation:
- Lead the QA process for our Secure Document Generation platform
- Develop and implement automated test scripts using tools like Cypress and Playwright as part of a long-term strategy for continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
Collaboration:
- Partner closely with developers, product managers, and system architects to integrate QA seamlessly into the development workflow.
- Communicate test results, metrics, and potential risks to key stakeholders.
Strategic Oversight:
- Oversee the technical aspects of the QA process, with a focus on continuous improvement and scalability as the platform and team grow.
- Provide leadership and mentorship as the QA team expands, guiding the direction of quality assurance practices and automation frameworks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Engineer in a SaaS or fast-growing technology startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools, preferably Cypress or Playwright.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and grow a QA team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
