Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Program Marketing serves as the primary marketing liaison between NSTXL clients, program leadership, and the internal marketing team, ensuring client objectives are understood, communicated, and successfully executed. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, leading meetings and strategy discussions, translating client needs into actionable marketing initiatives, and overseeing the delivery of tailored marketing solutions that support program success.
As the marketing subject matter expert for NSTXL Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), this role provides strategic guidance on client engagement and communications while monitoring industry trends, marketing strategies, defense innovation developments, and OTA needs.
In this position, the hired individual will be part of a team supporting NSTXL activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong understanding of the defense innovation ecosystem, client priorities, emerging trends, and industry developments to proactively support client objectives and identify opportunities for engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, leading meetings and collaborating with program directors to understand goals, requirements, and strategic initiatives while ensuring client expectations are met.
- Translate client needs, feedback, and program objectives into clear marketing strategies and actionable guidance for the broader marketing team, ensuring alignment across all deliverables and campaigns.
- Educate government clients, stakeholders, and internal teams on NSTXL marketing capabilities, services, and best practices to maximize program visibility and engagement.
- Acts as the liaison between the Creative Team and the Government Teams, managing the review and approval process for press releases, marketing content, and other external communications.
- Represent NSTXL and its OTAs at conferences, industry events, and stakeholder meetings to strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and increase brand awareness.
- Act as a trusted liaison between clients, program offices, and internal marketing resources, ensuring seamless communication, prioritization of client needs, and the delivery of customized marketing solutions that support program success.
- Monitor client satisfaction, provide ongoing strategic recommendations, and advocate for client needs internally to drive continuous improvement and long-term partnership growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure marketing initiatives, communications, and deliverables are executed on time, aligned with client objectives, and reflective of NSTXL’s quality standards.
- Act as the primary marketing SME for Program Vice Presidents, partnering closely to understand program objectives, identify client needs, develop strategic marketing recommendations, and align internal resources to support program goals.
- Send biweekly program-specific reports to Marketing Directors and the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), providing insights on program developments, client priorities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making and client engagement efforts.

Required
- US citizen and ability to get security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of marketing or communications experience.
- Proven track record of building and managing marketing offerings, teams, and department processes, including pipeline tracking, to achieve departmental objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Expert in tracking and compiling program marketing and department metrics to ensure accurate reporting and event debriefs for all stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills to successfully coordinate multiple projects/opportunities and deadlines simultaneously, while supporting the program marketing staff with deliverables when needed.
- Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred
- Experience with marketing automation software, such as WordPress, Zoom/ZoomGov, and HubSpot.
- Understanding of social media platforms, from a creative and operational perspective.
- Prior experience working with the Department of War (DoW).
