Senior Paralegal

Position Overview:


Inseego is seeking a Senior Paralegal to work onsite in San Diego, Ca. The Senior Paralegal will provide legal administrative support to all members of the Inseego Legal Department under the direction and supervision of the Associate General Counsel for all global corporate, contract and compliance matters.  The Senior Paralegal will help with many aspects of U.S. publicly-traded and international corporate transactions, global customer and supplier contracts, global compliance matters and company-wide policies and procedures.  This role will also help with the implementation and management of legal systems, processes and procedures.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responding to incoming requests to the Legal Department in a thorough, timely and efficient manner.
  • Preparing and filing corporate documents related to SEC, US Secretaries of State and foreign government requirements.
  • Maintaining corporate binders (virtually and physically) for Inseego entities.
  • Preparing customer and supplier agreements utilizing standard templates; assisting with maintaining templates.
  • Supporting entire contract process from initial request, through approval and signatures.
  • Maintaining and updating draft and final agreements in legal software systems.
  • Supporting preparation and maintenance of compliance and security documents and policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of legal software systems
  • Providing legal administrative support to all members of the Legal Department
  • Participating in technical and professional development, as may be appropriate or required
  • Other tasks as may be assigned by the General Counsel or Corporate Counsel

 Required Qualifications:   

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department or other equivalent job experience.
  • Preferred Paralegal Certificate or equivalent education.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Internet use, and office equipment operation; Expert in Microsoft Word preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of legal processes and legal terms and concepts including principles of confidentiality and proprietary information.
  • Must have ability to research, process, and present information on a wide variety of topics.
  • Must have ability to apply a high degree of quality and professionalism to all responsibilities.
  • Must have attention to detail, ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks and projects concurrently , strong time management skills.
  • Requires ability to meet deadlines, particularly in time-sensitive circumstances.
  • Must have ability to apply above-average critical thinking skills to solve problems and complete complex assignments.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills to process information timely, thoroughly and accurately.
  • Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a customer-service focus.
  • Must have ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment and ability to work independently and responsibly, as needed

 

Salary Range: $89,495-$108,296
