About the role

We are seeking a Product Owner – Data Products to lead the execution of Inspectorio's data product strategy, encompassing AI/ML solutions, Analytics & Business Intelligence tools, and data-driven product innovations. This role will drive the development of intelligent data products that leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and self-service BI capabilities to deliver transformative value to our clients. The responsibility is holistic across our entire data product suite.


What you'll do

  • Gather User & Market Insights: Conduct user research and market analysis specific to data and analytics needs, understanding pain points in data accessibility and AI adoption barriers. Identify highest-value opportunities for AI/ML applications, self-service analytics, and stay current with industry trends in AI/BI tools.
  • Prioritization & Roadmap: Prioritize the data product backlog balancing quick analytics wins with strategic AI initiatives, considering data readiness, implement complexity, and ROI potential. Support to develop a data product roadmap aligned with Inspectorio Product Roadmap and Value offering.
  • Solution Design & Validation: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define requirements for AI features or Analytics Dashboards. Validate use cases with stakeholders, establish success metrics, and ensure data governance and ethical AI considerations are embedded in solutions.
  • Monitoring & Iteration: Monitor data product performance including model accuracy, analytics adoption rates, and dashboard usage patterns. Analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for improving data accessibility and AI feature adoption, establishing feedback loops for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in B2B SaaS Product Management, with at least 2 years focused on data products, analytics platforms, or AI/ML solutions.
  • Product Development: Good knowledge and embracement of Agile principles/Scrum methodology.
  • Prioritization Frameworks: Good knowledge of prioritization frameworks such as RICE/Kano/MoSCoW/Scoring Model.
  • Data & Analytics Expertise: Hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and understanding of data analysis patterns.
  • UI/UX for Data Products: Knowledge of UX design patterns specific to data visualization and dashboard design. Ability to create wireframes for data-heavy interfaces and optimize information architecture for complex datasets.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset to understand data quality issues, model performance problems, and analytics adoption barriers. Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear data product requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with diverse stakeholders including data teams, business analysts, and executives. Manage expectations around AI capabilities, data limitations, and navigate technical discussions while translating complex concepts for business audiences.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate data insights, AI concepts, and analytics value propositions to varied audiences. Skilled at presenting technical roadmaps, dashboard demos, and gaining buy-in for data initiatives across all organizational levels.
  • AI-Powered Prototyping is a plus: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, v0, etc.) to rapidly create wireframes, mockups, and functional prototypes. Ability to quickly build proof-of-concepts using AI-assisted coding and no-code platforms to demonstrate data product ideas and validate hypotheses with stakeholders.
