About the role


We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-savvy Senior Business Systems Analyst to support and optimize our core financial systems. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to ensure NetSuite is configured, maintained, and enhanced to meet evolving business needs. This role combines systems expertise, process knowledge, and analytical problem-solving to drive efficiency, data integrity, and scalability.


What you'll do

  • System Administration & Support
    • Act as the subject matter expert and primary administrator for NetSuite.
    • Manage user roles, permissions, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reporting.
    • Provide day-to-day support to Finance and business users, resolving system issues promptly.
  • Process Optimization & Automation
    • Analyze business processes across Finance, Accounting, and related functions.
    • Recommend and implement system improvements, automation, and integrations to reduce manual effort.
    • Partner with stakeholders to design and deploy scalable workflows, custom scripts, and controls.
  • Implementation & Projects
    • Support system upgrades, module implementations, and third-party integrations (e.g., CRM, billing platforms, payment gateways).
    • Collaborate with external consultants and vendors when needed.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Data Management & Reporting
    • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data across NetSuite and integrated systems.
    • Develop and maintain saved searches, KPIs, and custom reports to support decision-making.
    • Support monthly/quarterly close activities with system-driven reconciliations and reporting.
    • Document system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
    • Implement controls to safeguard data integrity and system security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite administration and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes (GL, AR, AP, billing, revenue recognition).
  • Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBilling and system integrations preferred.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
  • SaaS or subscription-based business model experience strongly preferred.
