About the role

  • Responsible for all bookkeeping, assistance with the preparation of quarterly & annual financials, assistance with tax preparation, cash flow projection, and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the Balance Sheet and P&L.

What you'll do

  • Overseeing all transactions that hit the balance sheet and P&L and ensuring everything gets accounted for correctly.
  • Uploading all bank and credit card transactions and ensuring they are accounted for and classed correctly.
  • Understanding how to do a bank reconciliation and managing the outsourcing of all bank reconciliations to an accounting firm overseas.
  • Managing Accounts Payable and ensuring bills are entered correctly by the AP department.
  • Cutting checks weekly to vendors 
  • Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of quarterly and annual financial statements. This includes making adjusting journal entries at the end of each month to true-up principal & interest balances, payroll, payroll taxes, and depreciation.
  • Recording purchases, sales, and financing of assets such as trucks, directional drills, and other heavy duty equipment.
  • Managing cash flow projection spreadsheets which includes input of A/R report, updating cash balances, and projecting cash flows several months out.
  • Assisting the team in the preparation of annual partnership and S Corp tax returns.
  • Assisting the team with improving and developing internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Keeping the confidentiality of sensitive information such as anything bank related, tax information, large customer payments, and cash flow position.

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills. 
  • Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience using Quickbooks
  • Have at least one year of industry specific experience.
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance is preferred

The pay range for this role is:

65,000 - 75,000 USD per year (DTC)
