About the role

  • Supports field operations by managing inventory levels, distributing gear for large projects, and ensuring equipment availability. This role ensures efficient inventory tracking, organization, and readiness to support field teams in delivering high-quality traffic control services

What you'll do

Inventory Management & Distribution:

  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of traffic control equipment, PPE, and signage.
  • Distribute gear and materials for large-scale projects, ensuring field teams have what they need to execute jobs effectively.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize loss, damage, or theft.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Work with vendors and procurement teams to source necessary supplies and equipment.

Operational Support:

  • Coordinate with Field Managers and Supervisors to fulfill equipment and gear requests promptly.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and replaced as necessary.
  • Assist with loading and unloading gear for field crews, ensuring efficient dispatching of materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure all inventory-related operations comply with company safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Conduct safety inspections of gear and equipment before deployment.
  • Track expiration dates on PPE and safety gear, replacing items as needed.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Provide inventory usage reports to the Branch Manager and Operations Team.
  • Communicate inventory shortages or overages and recommend purchasing adjustments.
  • Train field employees on proper handling and return procedures for company equipment.

Qualifications

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have prior job experience
  • Effectively listen to, understand, and follow directions
  • Remain flexible as specific assignments change
  • Successfully work with a variety of personalities
  • Work well and efficiently navigate under pressure

The pay range for this role is:

19 - 24 USD per hour (Colorado)
