About The Role:
Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Columbus, OH reporting to the FP&A Manager. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a passion for numbers, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. In this role, you will support budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes, contributing directly to the company's financial performance and strategic decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and performance drivers, providing actionable insights to management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Support the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with departmental leaders.
- Monitor budget performance, provide timely updates and recommendations for course corrections.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of financial models to support forecasting and strategic planning.
- Data Management, Process Improvement, and Business Support
- Gather, organize, and validate financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial systems and tools.
- Partner with operators to understand their financial needs and provide analysis to guide decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight areas for improvement.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support special projects and initiatives.
We Would Love To Hear From You, If:
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate finance principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with GAAP and financial analysis best practices.

- Onsite role in Columbus, OH (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
