About The Role:
Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for an Epic OpTime and Integration Specialist to join our team in a remote role with periodic on-site meetings, reporting to the Director of Client Integrations. As an Epic OpTime and Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing Epic OpTime implementations and integrations for healthcare technology solutions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Epic OpTime integration projects, providing technical guidance and support to hospital clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Configure and maintain Epic OpTime interfaces, ensuring proper data flow between client systems and our healthcare technology platform.
- Analyze complex workflows in surgical departments to optimize Epic OpTime integration and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hospital IT teams to troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions while minimizing disruption to clinical operations.
- Document integration specifications, workflows, and system configurations.
- Provide training and support to hospital staff on integration functionality and best practices.
- Monitor integration performance metrics and prepare regular status reports.
- Participate in change management processes and system upgrades.
We Would Love To Hear From You, If:
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Nursing, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Epic OpTime in a hospital setting.
- Epic OpTime certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Strong understanding of perioperative workflows and clinical operations.
- Experience with HL7 interfaces and healthcare integration standards.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience coordinating multiple initiatives.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic Bridges certification.
- Experience with additional Epic modules (e.g., Bridges, Clarity, Caboodle).
- Clinical background in perioperative nursing or surgical services.
- Knowledge of FHIR and modern healthcare interoperability standards.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
- Technical Skills:
- Epic OpTime application and workflows.
- HL7 interface management.
- Healthcare interoperability standards.
- Database querying and reporting.
- Technical documentation.
- Integration testing methodologies.

- Onsite (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
- May require occasional travel to client sites (up to 25%).
