Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Pharmacy Innovation Product Manager to join our Team. In this role you will be a leader on the team creating our hardware and software products that are used in Hospitals and Health Systems across North America by Clinical Pharmacy Professionals to manage their high value medication inventory. This role will focus their efforts on the management of the features / functionalities of the hardware and software products from initial conception, documentation, and review through development, verification (SQA), and validation efforts.
A Clinical Pharmacy Innovation Product Manager is a role combining clinical pharmaceutical expertise who will work with the Product Team to oversee the development and lifecycle of healthcare products, specifically those involving pharmacy or clinical services utilizing high value medications. They bring industry knowledge of the Clinical Pharamcy workflow, define product requirements, help to manage product roadmaps, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet market needs, regulatory standards, and improve patient care outcomes. A strong background in pharmacy, pharmacy operations, OR/Procedure room knowledge, understanding of healthcare regulations and workflows, and proven product management experience are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborating with Clients, Product Teams, Development teams, Customer success teams, and Integration Engineers to
create and then translate use case requirements into workflows using various options within the product ecosystem.
· Deeply learning Products, documenting the best practices for their utilization at Client Sites, and continuously learning
and evolving as additional product features and functionalities are brought forward.
· Training or demoing to Pharmacy Providers and OR/Procedure room providers at Client Sites across the US, both virtually
and in person, to provide the most efficient and effective processes using our products to optimize utilization.
· Creating and delivering clear, detailed, and technically sound requirements to teammates, and providing ongoing support
and clarification throughout the development process.
· Conducting in-depth functional analysis to design solutions, assessing a range of options such as new software
development, configuring existing systems, business process redesign, evaluating new packages or systems, or a blend
of these approaches.
· Creating workflow charts, diagrams, and system specifications. Recommending process improvements, integration enhancements,
and technological solutions that increase efficiency and optimize existing technical resources.
· Translating business requirements into actionable functional and technical designs, collaborating with developers and engineers on
technical solutions.
· Perform configuration and implementation tasks, including prototyping, system integration configuration, and process
documentation.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree preferred or Pharmacy Technician with a degree in business or science.
· Licensed to practice pharmacy in any State in the US or Canada
· Certification through the appropriate certifying program
· Pharmaceutical Provider knowledge and skills; ability to accept accountability for patient outcomes, ability to prioritize patient
needs above all else, ability to practice pharmacy with integrity towards coworkers and patients, ability to accept and respond
constructively to feedback and criticism,
· A strong comfort level in technology and
· ‘Demonstrated ability to facilitate, document, and create software development requirements, including leading discovery sessions
with end users and stakeholders.
· Demonstrate ability to manage and accurately translate business needs into system requirements.
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including prioritization, planning, task delegation and cross-coordination
within a software development organization.
· A proven track record of taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced, agile environment.
The pay range for this role is:
140,000 - 170,000 USD per year (Remote)
