About The Role:

Intelliguard has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, OH reporting to the Sr. Engineering Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and commercialization of new products, product improvements, and feature additions. You will play a key role in fostering collaboration among cross-functional product teams and will act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Software, Product Management, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance, and Operations. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all requirements and specifications. Additionally, you will identify, analyze, and work to resolve issues or conflicts within project scope throughout the project lifecycle.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and guide multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, engineering, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage all aspects of project communication
  • Monitor progress on projects and provide input into areas of concern and direction or redirection.
  • Support the portfolio of current products in terms of quality and regulatory compliance, manufacturing and supply continuity.
  • Demonstrate strong and clear accountability for operational and program success.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation by proactively generating novel concepts to improve current product performance or enhance current products’ ability to address customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Intelliguard quality policies, procedures and practices.
  • Provide regular project updates to all stakeholders.
  • Chair, or co-chair with engineering functional managers, design reviews to ensure that product elements meets requirements.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

We Would Love To Hear From You, If:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline and previous related experience (approximately -3-5 years) in a project management or engineering management role or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
  • 3+ years of experience managing product development projects, with one or more full product development cycles, including the development of customer and engineering requirements leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in ISO 13485 (Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems) and ISO 14971 (Risk Management for Medical Devices)  
  • Project management experience (PMP Certification)
  • Strong technical writing skills, with a focus on writing and reviewing engineering and quality documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in consumer and medical hardware and software

  • Onsite role in Columbus, OH (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
  • The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an office setting, in an indoor, temperature-controlled environment. The office environment noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate.
  • The employee may sometimes be required to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

The pay range for this role is:

89,000 - 105,000 USD per year (Ohio Office)
