Position: Strategy and Operations Associate


As a Strategy and Operations Associate on the Strategic Growth team, you will help drive business expansion and operational improvement efforts by leading strategic initiatives, conducting market research, and supporting high-priority projects across the company. This role works closely with the VP of Growth and Director of Strategic Growth to scale Interplay’s impact.

What you’ll do: 

  • Assist in building and refining the strategic vision and roadmap for Interplay, identifying and evaluating whitespace expansion and business model growth opportunities.
  • Lead highly visible cross-functional strategic initiatives, leading scoping efforts and securing stakeholder alignment and sharing directly with executive leadership.
  • Manage research projects focused on new market entry, competitive analysis, etc., leading efforts to synthesize and communicate findings. 
  • Lead operational experiments and implementation focused on key parts of the business: pricing, churn, sales, etc.  
  • Support strategic partnerships that unlock growth potential in core markets.
  • Assist with one-off special projects, including board meeting preparation, fundraising efforts, sales proposals, etc.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with ability to uncover insights in complex data
  • Proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Strong communicator capable of distilling complexity into clear narratives for executive audiences
  • Comfortable collaborating across functions and levels, from Sales to Product to the CEO
  • Eager to learn, experiment, and grow in a mission-driven, high-impact environment


Requirements: 

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of management consulting, investment banking, accounting or startup business operations experience
  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without stipulations and be residents of the United States.
  • Following offer, all roles require I-9 verification, E-Verify, a background check, and a drug and alcohol test.


Pay:  $100,000 - $110,000

The company conducts background checks after extending offers of employment. These screenings are performed by third-party specialists. The pay range for this role is:
