Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to lead our security and infrastructure efforts. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our CI/CD processes and overall system architecture for our cutting-edge VR training platform.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, improve, and maintain our network and software security standards, processes, and protocols.

  • Manage our work and workflows with security vendors.

  • Automate security controls.

  • Create standards for and maintain a secure CI/CD process.

  • Carefully maintain records and tracking systems related to security, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring security issues to management.

  • Track, document, and report security levels and KPIs.

  • Identify and test new technologies.

  • Identify training needs and take action to ensure compliance.

  • Own the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline

  • Maintain and update environments for reliability, security, and efficiency

  • Work with different product QA and Engineering teams across the organization to ensure test frameworks are run in a consistent and timely manner

  • Build tools and systems to improve the operational efficiency of the entire engineering team

  • Debug and resolve build, test, and deployment issues in staging and production environments

  • Pursue continuous learning on new solutions, technology, and skills.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in IT management and operations.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with CI/CD through GitLab.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
  • Experience with Terraform.
  • Proficient in security architecture.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment.
  • Demonstrated strong decision-making skills in high-risk situations.

Pay: up to $160k
