What is the Role?

As a Bench Manager, you will help CityBridge and the Operations team support several technical bench activities. These activities include refurbishment, repair, and manufacturing efforts. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with management, requiring strong leadership and organizational skills to keep technical operations running smoothly and efficiently. You will be an integral part of efforts to improve documentation and training, drive root-cause identification, implement processes, and identify gaps in efficiencies. You will lead a team of bench technicians repairing electrical components, refurbishing device assemblies, and performing final assembly activities. You will support the implementation of solutions, while leveraging creative capabilities, data, and infrastructure across various digital media properties. 


What you will accomplish:

  • Daily oversight and supervision of bench technicians and operations
  • Responsible for end-to-end workflows; intake to output
  • Ensuring processes are followed and protocols are enforced
  • Manage complex component-level repairs and provide technical guidance
  • Perform training, identify knowledge gaps, and develop technician skills
  • Quality assurance testing on bench output; ensure quality, adherence to standards, and efficient repair/testing of diverse equipment
  • Support bench inventory cycle counting and forward stocking efforts
  • Acting liaison between bench operations and leadership
  • Streamline efforts and identify gaps in processes and/or workflows
  • Monitor key spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient quantity to support repair operations
  • Analyze and synthesize data to develop internal and external reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business leads, engineering, QA and support teams

You're a great fit for this role because:

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing personnel
  • 10+ years of experience performing technical repairs
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • A mastery of understanding of IOT products; hardware and software relying on connectivity
  • Experience with assorted interfaces (i.e. tablet, mobile, desktop, etc) as well as different operating systems
  • Experience driving process improvements in a service and support environment 
  • Experience with Excel/G-Sheets, CRM, ERP, and Asset Management platforms, is preferred
  • Excellent oral, written, and visual communication and presentation skills
  • Want to be a part of a fast-paced innovative team

Total Compensation $70,000-100,000
