Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide high-quality medical care, perform diagnostic evaluations, develop treatment plans, and support patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and review medical histories.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health conditions in accordance with established protocols.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as permitted by law.
- Assist in surgeries, medical procedures, and wound care as needed.
- Counsel patients on preventive care, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (preferred).
- Minimum 1 years of clinical experience in [ primary care, emergency medicine] (preferred).
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
