About the role

We are currently seeking a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented Controller with a proven technical accounting background. As a Controller, you will oversee all aspect of accounting operations, the general ledger, the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, the financial close, accounting policies and the related controls process framework, and payroll for all global entities. Critical to success will be the ability to partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to drive change, build efficiencies, and enable rapid growth for our organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
• 10+ years of related work experience (Ie. Big 4,mid-sized biotech companies)
• Active CPA license and in good standing
• A genuine curiosity directed toward problem-solving
• Demonstrated analytical and technical accounting skills (I.e., Ability to think critically about the impact of accounting transactions and technical GAAP skills)
• Proficiency in multi-currency environments and accounting for global operations
• Proven adeptness at detailed work such as the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts, and the portrayal of clear and concise summary-level work (I.e., ability to get ‘into the weeds” as needed while not losing site of the broader picture)
• Superior written and oral communications skills, including the ability to succinctly communicate complex messaging in a credible and clear manner
• Ability to self-direct work and manage time accordingly
• Experience with guiding a small team of direct reports
• Experience with the NetSuite platform, including multi-entity considerations
• Excel proficiency a must
