Summary

Invictus is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee on-site execution of industrial outage projects at power generation facilities. This role supports a key Invictus client in the energy sector, delivering critical HRSG and boiler maintenance services during scheduled plant outages. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership in the field, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors under tight deadlines.

This position requires extensive travel (up to 65%) to project sites across the U.S., with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast or in Oklahoma. The role is structured as a W2 position.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day field operations during industrial outage projects at combined cycle gas power plants
  • Lead field crews and oversee subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
  • Interpret technical drawings, scopes of work, and project schedules to guide site execution
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Client Representatives to support successful project delivery
  • Monitor compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity targets
  • Provide regular updates on project status, field conditions, and personnel performance
  • Assist with mobilization and demobilization planning, site setup, and workforce scheduling
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and field documentation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in power generation or heavy industrial construction
  • Proven track record managing outage crews and subcontractors in HRSG or boiler work
  • Strong understanding of outage safety practices, quality control, and field logistics
  • Comfortable working from detailed scopes of work, project schedules, and technical drawings
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools; project management software experience is a plus
  • Outstanding leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work extended hours during project execution phases

Compensation & Benefits

Annualized Pay: $90,000–$110,000 (pro-rated per assignment)
