Summary

Invictus is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee on-site execution of industrial outage projects at power generation facilities. This role supports a key Invictus client in the energy sector, delivering critical HRSG and boiler maintenance services during scheduled plant outages. The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership in the field, a strong safety mindset, welding experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors under tight deadlines.

This position requires extensive travel (up to 65%) to project sites across the U.S., with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast or in Oklahoma. The role is structured as a W2 position.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations and execution for HRSG and boiler outages at combined cycle gas power plants
• Direct and coordinate field crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-schedule, and spec-compliant delivery
• Enforce welding quality standards and procedures across all applicable scopes
• Interpret technical drawings, scopes of work, and schedules to drive project execution
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison between project managers, estimators, and client contacts
• Conduct safety briefings, enforce worksite compliance, and monitor productivity
• Report field status, issues, and manpower needs to project leadership
• Oversee mobilization, site setup, logistics, and demobilization activities
• Maintain accurate project records and daily reporting

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in power generation or heavy industrial construction
• Demonstrated experience supervising HRSG outage work is required
• Welding knowledge and experience in industrial field settings is mandatory
• Familiarity with outage-related safety protocols, QA/QC processes, and technical scope reviews
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews under tight timelines
• Skilled in reading and executing from technical plans, drawings, and schedules
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); project management software experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities
• Willingness to travel up to 65% and remain on-site for extended project durations

Compensation & Benefits

Annualized Pay: $90,000–$110,000 (pro-rated per assignment)
