Summary
Invictus is seeking a Data Analyst with strong technical skills in SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau to support a leading credit union partner in Tysons, VA. This hybrid role requires three days per week onsite and offers the opportunity to grow into advanced AI/ML analytics as part of the consumer banking data team.

The ideal candidate has a background in building data pipelines, developing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights. While AI/ML engineering is not required at the start, this team is committed to upskilling strong SQL/Tableau/Snowflake analysts into AI/ML practitioners, making this a great growth opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards that visualize critical business metrics
• Write advanced SQL queries and manage datasets in Snowflake for reporting and analysis
• Build and optimize ETL processes to ensure clean and accurate data flows
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions
• Support data governance by maintaining consistency, accuracy, and compliance of reporting artifacts
• Provide analytical insights to drive decision-making across consumer banking products
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
• Contribute to documentation of processes, definitions, and reporting standards

Required Skills and Key Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or related role
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse
• Demonstrated skills in Tableau (Desktop & Prep) for dashboards and visualization
• Solid understanding of data transformation and pipeline development
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data-driven findings to business users

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working in consumer banking, credit union, or financial services data environments
• Familiarity with data governance tools (Ataccama, Collibra, or similar)
• Exposure to Python or AI/ML concepts (with interest in upskilling further)
• Experience in Agile environments using Jira or similar tools

Location and Schedule

• Work Location: Hybrid in McLean/Tysons, VA (three days on-site, two days remote).
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard business hours.
