Job Title: Financial Analyst

 

Department:  Finance

 

Reporting to: Senior Financial Analyst


Location: Baltimore, MD. This is a hybrid role with 3-days per week required to be worked in the Baltimore, MD office.

 

Hours of work: Typical hours of work are from 8:30 AM until 5:30 PM (local time). Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This position is exempt from overtime.


Compensation:  $64,000 to $74,000 annually (to commensurate with experience)

InVita is looking for a qualified, ethical, and organized Financial Analyst to help keep InVita’s financials and budgets on track with precision and accuracy. Essential Functions:

  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyze historical results, perform variance analysis, and identify trends and actionable items.
  • Drive process improvements, including development of standardized and ad-hoc reporting, financial models, and dashboards.
  • Support monthly private equity reporting requirements, including preparation and review of deliverables.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly covenant reporting, including preparation of Covenant Certificates and Debt Continuation agreements.
  • Manage the monthly commissions process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support as needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leadership, including C-suite executives.
  • Other duties, as necessary.

 

AI & Technology Expectations:

  • Utilize AI-enabled tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar platforms) to enhance financial analysis, automate routine tasks, and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Leverage AI to assist in building and refining financial models, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights.
  • Apply critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business context.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes through automation and AI-driven solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams to support the adoption of AI and data tools across Finance and the broader organization.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AI capabilities and proactively recommend applications that drive value for the business.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in an analyst role preferred.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience using AI to enhance financial reporting.
  • SaaS experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with financial systems (e.g., Salesforce, iLevel, Martus).

·       Experience in working in a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills (including in-person, phone, and email).
  • Demonstrated ability to work as both a team member and as an individual contributor.
