As we continue to expand globally, we are seeking a strategic, client-focused, and commercially driven leader to serve as Vice President of Global Client Success. This role will shape how we partner with clients—supporting their goals while driving mutual growth and long-term impact.


Overview of the Role:


The Vice President of Global Client Success will lead a global function responsible for both strategic client management and commercial growth. Equal parts relationship architect and business strategist, this leader will oversee the full lifecycle of client engagement—from initial outreach and account management to performance tracking, account growth, and renewal.


This role will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Client Solutions, and Operations teams, and in close partnership with the C-Suite and regional leaders. The Vice President will align service excellence with commercial outcomes, delivering tailored, data-informed solutions that support client success and drive IP House’s growth objectives.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Client Partnership & Success

  • Serve as the senior relationship lead for key global clients and potential clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and shared success.
  • Lead a globally distributed Client Success function, delivering high-touch, responsive, and strategic support.
  • Ensure client satisfaction with bespoke solutions that align with client business objectives, leveraging cross-functional collaboration across operations, product, and investigations teams.

Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities across both existing and prospective client relationships, including enhanced services, pilots, and joint initiatives.
  • Lead strategic sales planning and forecasting to ensure client needs are aligned with commercial roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to refine pricing models and commercial strategies that maximize value and scalability.

Sales Enablement & Market Development

  • Support and guide high-priority pursuits, proposals, and commercial discussions with insights into client needs and solution alignment.
  • Drive the evolution of value messaging and client-facing materials that reflect IP House’s full-service approach.
  • Equip Client Success leads with the training, tools, and frameworks to support strategic sales and engagement and expansion efforts.

Performance Management & Insights

  • Define and manage global KPIs and OKRs related to client performance, revenue growth, and satisfaction.
  • Lead client-facing dashboard and data initiatives, providing actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate performance metrics into strategic guidance for account planning, service innovation, and commercial execution.

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Act as a strategic bridge between Client Success and the broader organization to ensure cohesive, client-aligned delivery.
  • Standardize practices and feedback loops across regions while maintaining local flexibility to meet market-specific needs.
  • Advise senior leadership on client health, account risks, commercial potential, and broader market trends.

Team Development & Leadership

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing, globally distributed Client Success function.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote excellence and consistency in every client interaction, from onboarding through expansion.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 8–10+ years in client success, strategic account management, or commercial leadership, preferably in IP enforcement, legal services, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Proven track record managing high-value global clients and driving consultative growth strategies.
  • Demonstrated success aligning commercial strategies with operational and client delivery goals.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
  • Expertise in CRM systems, reporting tools, and performance analytics.
  • Experience managing collaboration-driven distributed teams and engaging with clients across diverse international markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD) a plus.

The pay range for this role is:

170,000 - 180,000 USD per year (Remote (United States))
