Graphic Designer/ Multimedia Specialist

About the role

This Top Secret-cleared (or TS/SCI cleared) Graphic Designer / Multimedia Specialist will be supporting the Department of War, creating visually precise and mission-focused products that communicate complex operational, technical, and strategic information across highly sensitive environments. This role enhances organizational understanding and decision-making by converting data, analysis, and abstract concepts into clear, professional, and visually compelling materials suitable for senior leaders, operational planners, and specialized mission partners. The Graphic Designer must understand national security context, organizational communication standards, and classification guidelines to ensure all products support mission objectives with accuracy and clarity.

What you'll do

  • Develop visual products for executive briefs, proposals, and mission documents.
  • Design infographics, workflow diagrams, and multimedia elements.
  • Ensure brand consistency and visual clarity.
  • Support classified and unclassified production environments.
  • Coordinate with writers and SMEs to visually represent complex ideas.
  • Ensure visual consistency across documents
  • Incorporate technical and operational inputs into design products
  • Prepare time-sensitive materials for leadership
  • Apply established branding and formatting standards.
  • Research, develop, and design original creative products/images that enhance and organizations of communications efforts.
  • Plan and design visual information material for printed publications, multimedia, video, photography, exhibits, logos, signs, and certificates, etc.
  • Develop concepts, layouts and designs through frequent coordination with customer to create visual products. Prepare final designs and arrange for printing or electronic reproduction of completed products.

 Qualifications

  • Tope Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience supporting the DoD and other U.S. Government agencies as a professional designer
  • Demonstrated expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and government-style formats
  • Requires strong technical proficiency in design tools, attention to detail, and the ability to convert complex information into clean, functional visual formats.

The pay range for this position is between $80,000and $140,000 subject to experience. This position is benefits-eligible.
