About the role


This role is perfect for a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS-certified) professional with 2-5 years of clinical ultrasound experience who thrives on hands-on technical support and community engagement. As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will be at the forefront of clinical and technical excellence, ensuring that our innovative ultrasound system is seamlessly integrated into diverse healthcare settings. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and continuous improvement. Your day-to-day tasks will involve a blend of clinical expertise, technical troubleshooting, and digital communication skills while also harnessing the power of the Microsoft Office suite to manage documentation and reporting.

You’ll:

  • Train customers and clinicians on iSono Health’s groundbreaking ultrasound system.
  • Assist with study site operations and customer onboarding.
  • Amplify our mission through social media and digital outreach.
  • Serve as a technical resource, ensuring efficient use of our systems and fostering team collaboration to optimize patient outcomes.

 

What you'll do


Clinical & Technical Support

  • Training & Onboarding: Deliver comprehensive training sessions to clinicians and study sites on iSono Health's portable 3D ultrasound system, ensuring that users are comfortable with the hardware and software aspects.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical support, including product demonstrations, installations, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with the Marketing and Clinical teams to develop training materials and user guides, leveraging the full capabilities of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and presentations.
  • Feedback Loop: Document and communicate user feedback to the R&D team to drive iterative product improvements.
  • Technical Skills: Maintain proficiency in the latest medical imaging technologies and technical troubleshooting protocols to support clinicians in a dynamic clinical environment.

Clinical Research Support

  • Study Site Onboarding: Manage regulatory documents and conduct protocol training sessions to assist with the onboarding process at study sites.
  • Field Coordination: Coordinate field requests such as data collection and device logistics to support clinical trials.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Help maintain trial master files (eTMF) and ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, using advanced Microsoft Office skills for effective record keeping.

Content Creation & Social Engagement

  • Content Creation: Develop clinician-friendly social media content (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) to educate the community about breast ultrasound and early detection.
  • Online Presence: Draft posts, engage with online audiences, and support virtual or webinar events the onboarding process at study sites.

Expanded Clinical Application Specialist Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage regularly with clinical, marketing, R&D, and IT teams to ensure product reliability and the continuous enhancement of our ultrasound system.
  • Technical Documentation: Utilize advanced technical writing and Microsoft Office skills to create, update, and distribute clear and concise user manuals and training documentation.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage Excel and other Microsoft suite tools to analyze clinical data, track performance metrics, and report on system utilization and customer feedback.
  • Teamwork & Problem Solving: Work in a collaborative environment to quickly resolve technical issues, share best practices, and contribute to team-wide training initiatives.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on technological advancements and best practices in ultrasound imaging and healthcare technology to provide proactive support and innovation.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with internal teams to ensure a consistent message across channels and to gather insights that enhance community engagement. Draft posts, engage with online audiences, and support virtual or webinar events to assist in managing iSono’s digital footprint.


Qualifications

  • Required:
    • RDMS certification (experience in ultrasound breast imaging/OB-GYN is a plus).
    • 2-5 years in clinical ultrasound (hospital, clinic, or research setting).
    • Proficiency in technical support tools and a solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without feeling overwhelmed.
    • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support users in real time.
    • Passion for women’s health and eagerness to learn commercial/startup workflows.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork and real-time cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Nice-to-Have:
    • Experience creating educational content (blogs, reels, infographics).
    • Experience with executing clinical studies utilizing good clinical practices (GCPs).
    • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant social media practices.
    • Prior experience in industry or clinical applications of ultrasound systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

The pay range for this role is:
