About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to support our development and testing initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in manual testing, test automation, motion calibration, and web-based UI development while working alongside engineers in a dynamic, collaborative environment.


What you'll do

  • Perform manual testing to validate software functionality and identify defects.
  • Automate test cases that do not require direct instrument interaction, improving efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop scripts in Python to automate homing calibration for motors, ensuring accurate initialization.
  • Design and implement a web-based UI module for image study, enhancing usability and visualization.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React, or similar).
  • Understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with hardware calibration processes.
  • Knowledge of image processing techniques.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
