JOB OVERVIEW:
ITV Studios is responsible for some of the most famous and loved entertainment properties in the world. ITV America is one of the fastest growing regions, currently serviced by the global team based in the UK. We are now looking for a brand partnerships and licensing leader to work directly with our American partners.
The VP of Brand Partnerships, North America will lead the development and implementation of ITV Studios brand partnerships strategy in the region. Based in Stamford, CT, the role reports directly to the SVP of Brand Licensing, Global Partnerships in London, with a dotted line to the Chief Business Officer, ITV America. The role’s primary responsibility will be driving commercial growth across ITV Studios’ US portfolio, which includes titles such as “Love Island”, “Hell’s Kitchen” and “The Voice”, through both brand licensing and content partnerships.
The position requires a senior-level operator with exceptional commercial judgment and solid in-market relationships. The role holder must have the gravitas to present to C‑suite clients, and the diplomacy to navigate complex stakeholder environments including managing potential conflict with network-level sales while ensuring ITV Studios’ IP remains protected and positioned for long-term strategic value for the brand owner.
The role is central to identifying, pitching, shaping, and approving North American brand opportunities around some of the world’s most recognizable and most loved TV formats, as well as supporting development of new content franchises and creator-led content built for brand partnership. The role requires frequent travel within the US and some international travel to the UK, while working across multiple time zones with UK and global teams.
The role maximizes the commercial value of ITV Studios’ brands by ensuring flawless operational delivery across brand integrations, licensing, e‑commerce, and production, protecting our IP, enhancing partner value, and delivering consistent, high‑quality branded experiences across platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue Growth & Category Leadership
- Work as part of the Brand Partnerships and Licensing team to deliver a targeted $4m incremental revenue uplift across priority categories: retail, health & fitness, beauty, hospitality, lifestyle, and emerging brand sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and key contacts across North America, including both proactive prospecting and reactive inbound briefs. Collaborating with ITV America Heads of Department on new opportunities and relationships.
- Lead high‑impact commercial pitches that clearly articulate value, IP strength, and multi-platform storytelling opportunities.
- Build compelling, multi-IP partnership solutions in collaboration with the VP Brand Integrations and broader UK based Global Partnerships team.
Media Agency & Client Relationship Management
- Work closely with national and regional media agencies, cultivating influential relationships across strategy, investment, content, and partnership teams.
- Serve as a trusted partner to senior brand marketers, CMOs, and decision‑makers.
- Navigate any competitive tension between ITV Studios’ partnership offerings and network/platform sales ensuring alignment while defending and extending ITV value.
- Maintain an active understanding of US brand priorities, investment trends, and category shifts.
Creative & Production Collaboration
- Partner closely with VP Creative Services, VP Brand Integrations and the ITV America creative teams to:
- Explore partnership‑led creative ideas.
- Support content solutions that meet brand objectives without compromising editorial integrity.
- Ensure feasibility, talent alignment, and production practicality for all integrations and custom content proposals.
- Join key creative meetings where brand collaboration may enhance or enable new IP development.
Opportunity Assessment & Brand Governance
- Act as a guardian of the IP ensuring all proposed partnerships align with brand values, legal requirements, audience expectations, long-term equity and existing global partnerships where appropriate.
- Evaluate inbound partnership opportunities, making clear judgement calls on:
- What to progress
- What to reshape
- What to reject
- Provide structured rationale to the SVP of Brand Licensing and the CBO ITV America, ensuring consistency and clarity of message.
- Establish a clear operating framework to streamline approvals and information sharing across global teams.
Cross-Functional & Global Alignment
- Work closely with:
- VP Brand Solutions (UK-based)
- VP’s Brand Integrations (UK-based)
- Chief Business Officer, ITV America
- Global Creative Services team
- Broader Brand Licensing team and SMEs
- ITV America development & production teams
- International commercial teams
- Ensure US opportunities are aligned with global partnership strategy and existing international agreements.
- Share market intelligence and performance insights with the UK global team.
Pitch Leadership & High-Level Representation
- Represent ITV Studios and Global Partnerships in senior-level meetings with clients, agencies, platform partners, and internal executives.
- Create high-quality proposal materials, market narratives, and category strategies.
- Present confidently and persuasively to C‑suite stakeholders.
- Act as a senior ambassador for ITV Studios’ global brand partnership capabilities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:
- 8-12+ years of experience in brand partnerships, media agency leadership, TV network sales, content partnerships, rights management, or entertainment commercial strategy.
- Strong understanding of rights-based media businesses, ideally within television or premium content.
- Proven track record unlocking high-value brand or media investment in the US market.
- Experience presenting to and influencing C‑suite decision‑makers.
- Deep relationships across US agencies and brand marketing communities.
- Demonstrated ability to convert creative ideas into commercially sound partnership solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate sensitive or competitive commercial environments.
- Experience working with production and creative teams on integration-led concepts.
- Ability to balance creative, editorial, legal, and commercial considerations.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The pay range for the role is $205,000 to $225,000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, which may include office location, education, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for our Discretionary Executive Bonus Plan, subject to the rules of the plan.
