IT/Analytics Specialist

Role Overview 

J &O Plastics is looking for a skilled IT Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting company data analytics, including Power BI, the IT infrastructure, and supporting our helpdesk. Your expertise will be out to use in maintaining a strong reporting structure, securing a reliable technology environment, and supporting all our end users. 

Responsibilities 

• Data analytics and reporting.
• Monitor and maintain the IT helpdesk.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with IT-related queries and issues.
• Document IT processes, procedures, and systems for future reference and training.
• Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects to improve business technology.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of data analytics, computer systems, networks, and telecommunications.
• Experience in a Microsoft environment with a focus on Power Bi.
• Proficiency, Power BI, and Microsoft Technologiesin data analytics
• Demonstrated professionalism in resolving customer issues.

Preferred :Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Power BI and Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Scale).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
