The Sales Analyst will provide actionable insights to support the sales team, national account managers, and leadership in driving growth across grocery, mass, and club channels. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with data, building models/dashboards and translating numbers into strategic recommendations, and helping a high-growth CPG brand win at retail.
What You’ll Own:
Sales Data & Reporting
- Analyze retail sales data across channels, accounts, and SKUs to identify trends and opportunities
- Track performance against sales goals, velocity metrics, and distribution targets
- Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate key insights to sales and leadership teams
- Provide support for retail account setup and portal management.
Retail Insights
- Evaluate retail programs, promotions, and pricing strategies for effectiveness
- Monitor in-stock levels, sell-through, and velocity by account
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve retail performance and account growth
Forecasting & Planning
- Support forecasting, pipeline tracking, and inventory planning for national accounts
- Collaborate with sales and supply chain teams to ensure accurate demand planning
- Identify risks and opportunities in sales performance and recommend strategies to mitigate gaps
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with sales, marketing, finance, and operations to provide insights that drive business decisions
- Support analysis for new product launches, promotional campaigns, and retail expansion initiatives
- Continuously improve reporting processes and analytics capabilities
You’re a Fit If…
- 4–7 years of experience in sales analytics, business analysis, or retail/CPG analytics
- Detail oriented and high level of personal accountability
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is a plus
- Experience working with retail sales data (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, or POS data) preferred
- Experience with KeHe Connect, Walmart Connect, POL (Target)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment - acts with urgency
