The Opportunity
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, leading the operational vision and execution that fuels Javvy’s next stage of growth. You’ll own the design, optimization, and performance of the company’s entire supply chain and operational ecosystem—from sourcing and manufacturing through fulfillment, retail execution, and continuous improvement.
This role requires a proven operations leader who can operate at both 5,000 feet and five inches off the ground—capable of setting strategy while diving into the details to ensure flawless execution. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of leadership experience within high-growth CPG environments, with a strong background in both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and retail channels.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and be part of the executive leadership team, shaping company strategy, building scalable infrastructure, and driving efficiency and profitability across all operational functions.
What You’ll Own
Strategic Operations Leadership
- Develop and execute a long-term operations strategy aligned with Javvy’s growth goals across DTC, retail, and new channel expansion.
- Build a scalable operating model that balances speed, flexibility, and margin optimization.
- Partner with the CEO and executive team to translate company vision into measurable operational plans and KPIs.
- Evaluate and implement systems, automation, and structure to support rapid growth without sacrificing quality or efficiency.
Supply Chain & Manufacturing
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain strategy, from procurement and co-manufacturing to logistics and final-mile fulfillment.
- Build and strengthen vendor relationships to ensure quality, capacity, and continuity of supply.
- Drive long-term sourcing strategies that reduce costs, improve quality, and mitigate risk through diversification and redundancy.
- Lead production planning and operational readiness for all launches, ensuring speed to market and flawless execution.
Logistics, Fulfillment & Retail Execution
- Lead all 3PL and logistics partnerships, ensuring performance excellence, cost control, and scalability.
- Develop best-in-class fulfillment strategies across DTC, Amazon, and retail channels to ensure OTIF delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing to ensure seamless retail execution, display success, and distribution reliability.
- Build processes to support expansion into additional retail, distributor, and wholesale accounts.
Financial & Performance Accountability
- Own operational P&L drivers including COGS, logistics efficiency, and gross margin performance.
- Establish and manage KPIs for cost control, inventory turns, fill rates, and service levels.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process optimization, and working capital improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement and margin expansion through disciplined financial management and operational excellence.
Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement
- Champion the integration of data, analytics, and systems (e.g., NetSuite) to enhance visibility and decision-making across the organization.
- Lead implementation of SOPs, dashboards, and performance tools to drive accountability and transparency.
- Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement rooted in data and outcomes.
Leadership & Culture
- Build and lead a high-performing operations organization that is agile, accountable, and aligned to company goals.
- Mentor and develop future operational leaders capable of scaling with the business.
- Champion Javvy’s values and cultivate a culture of speed, ownership, and excellence.
- Represent Operations as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic decisions.
You’re a Fit If…
- Have 10+ years of senior operations leadership experience in CPG, preferably in food or beverage, with both DTC and retail channel expertise.
- Are both strategic and hands-on, capable of building scalable systems while managing day-to-day operational performance.
- Excel in fast-paced, high-growth environments with complex supply chains and high executional standards.
- Lead with data, KPIs, and continuous improvement—driving decisions through metrics, not anecdotes.

- You have deep experience leading 3PLs, logistics networks, and manufacturing partners with clear SLA accountability.
- You move fast, fix problems permanently, and build processes that scale.
