Systems Administrator – Field Operations

About Jetson:

Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100M homes across North America away from burning fossil fuels to sustainable energy use. Here at Jetson, we believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better.

Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, which can be dramatically reduced by converting to heat pumps, however, adoption lags due to high cost and friction in the retrofit process today. Solving one layer of the value chain won’t move the needle on adoption. Mass adoption will come when it becomes a no-brainer for homeowners to transition. That is why Jetson is building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company. Jetson will make it simple, transparent and affordable for everyone to get a heat pump.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a System Administrator to own and optimize the technology platforms that power Jetson's field operations. This role sits at the intersection of IT systems administration, integration engineering, and operational efficiency—ensuring that our field technicians, project coordinators, and operations leaders have reliable, real-time access to the data and tools they need to deliver exceptional installations.

You will be the primary administrator for our Field Service Management platform (Zuper) and its integrations with HubSpot CRM, managing everything from user permissions and data integrity to custom automations and API-driven workflows. You'll work closely with Field Operations, Customer Operations, and leadership to translate operational needs into system capabilities—building the technical backbone that allows Jetson to scale efficiently across multiple regions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on solving problems, building automations, and making systems work seamlessly together. You will have significant ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to shape how Jetson's field operations technology evolves.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Zuper (Field Service Management) and support HubSpot CRM administration, maintaining data integrity, user roles, security settings, and system documentation
  • Manage system configurations, updates, and health monitoring across operational platforms
  • Own user onboarding, access controls, and platform training for field and office teams
  • Build and maintain integrations between Zuper, HubSpot, and other operational systems (Google Workspace, timecard systems, reporting tools) via APIs and middleware
  • Monitor and troubleshoot real-time data synchronization to ensure field operations data flows accurately into CRM, dashboards, and reporting systems
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues at the source
  • Design and implement automation workflows across Zuper and HubSpot to streamline scheduling, dispatch, job status updates, and operational handoffs
  • Write scripts (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to extend platform capabilities, automate repetitive tasks, and enable custom triggers
  • Leverage AI tools and automation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide visibility into field operations KPIs, technician performance, installation pipeline status, and permit tracking
  • Support leadership with ad-hoc analysis and system-driven insights
  • Act as the primary point of contact for platform support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors when needed

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience administering enterprise platforms, ideally including CRM (HubSpot) or Field Service Management systems
  • Proven experience building and maintaining integrations using APIs
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation and custom tooling
  • AI tools for operational automation experience
  • Strong understanding of data flows, system architecture, and how operational platforms connect
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues across interconnected systems
  • Clear communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently with limited structure
  • Direct experience with Zuper, HubSpot, or similar FSM/CRM platforms preferred
  • Background in field service operations, HVAC, solar, or home services industries preferred
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms (Zapier, Make, n8n) or GitHub Actions preferred
