Sales Account Executive - Communication Solutions

Position Summary:

JMARK is looking for a driven and experienced Account Executive to join our team. The AE will be instrumental in identifying new prospects, building strong business relationships based on JMARK's core values, and acquiring new clients by offering tailored technology and business solutions. This role involves proactive communication with prospects and collaboration with internal teams to develop and present formal proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

The Account Executive will:

  • Independently source new prospects and respond to marketing and referral opportunities.
  • Build and maintain positive business relationships, becoming a trusted advisor to prospects.
  • Design and manage technology and business solutions, ensuring they align with prospect goals.
  • Achieve personal, team, and departmental sales goals, maintaining a pipeline of 2.5 times the monthly quota.
  • Oversee client onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition and exceptional client experience.
  • Maintain clear and frequent communication with prospects, vendors, and internal teams throughout the sales process.
  • Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends to better serve prospects and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with marketing, support, community partners, suppliers, and product management to develop new programs and campaigns for Communication Solutions.
  • Ensure customer expectations are exceeded, delivering a "wow" client experience.
  • Act as a liaison to vendors, selecting products and services that best meet company and client goals.
  • Provide an additional point of contact for escalated customer issues, offering technology and business advice.
  • Maintain relationships that enhance JMARK’s positive reputation through exceptional customer service.
  • Keep the CRM system updated with accurate information for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Facilitate the development and management of client relationships in collaboration with the JMARK team.

Professional Development:

The AE will:

  • Participate in ongoing training and stay current on industry trends.
  • Develop business, management, and teamwork skills continuously.
  • Mentor team members and participate in company-sponsored activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and drive team performance.

Sales Objectives:

The AE will be accountable for meeting the Growth Team's monthly quota for increasing MRR and bidding labor projects for Communication Solutions.

  • 3+ years of experience in client relationships and sales processes.
  • Strong ability to communicate technology and business solutions effectively.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering formal presentations and proposals.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to identify and develop the best solutions.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Solid relationship management and performance management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to handle adversity with composure and focus on desired outcomes.
  • Effective prioritization and execution of tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Exceptional listening, questioning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driven, self-directed, and high attention to detail.
