About the Role:
 
Ensunet Technology Group is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Systems Architect with a robust background in cloud services, infrastructure, and application rationalization. This full-time role requires a candidate with over 10 years of experience in systems architecture, specializing in application profiling, consolidation strategies, and solutioning. The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing our application landscape to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Cloud Services and Infrastructure: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Application Rationalization: Assess the current application portfolio, develop strategies to consolidate and streamline applications, and evaluate the impacts on business processes.
  • Solutioning: Create comprehensive architecture solutions that meet business requirements and align with IT standards. This includes designing integration strategies, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring the architecture is robust and scalable.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategies for application and infrastructure modernization, focusing on cost efficiency, performance improvement, and business alignment.
         Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate architectural solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data to evaluate application performance, identify redundancy and inefficiencies, and recommend consolidation or retirement of applications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including design specifications, integration plans, and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
 
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in systems architecture, with a strong focus on cloud services, infrastructure, and application rationalization.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), infrastructure design, and application rationalization methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex application portfolios, assess business impacts, and develop rationalization strategies.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to develop and implement long-term architectural solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, IT professionals, and external vendors.
  • Flexibility: Open to candidates with a primary focus on either infrastructure or application rationalization, with the potential to split the position based on expertise.
  • Location: Must be local to Boston, MA.
