Senior Data Scientist

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and results-oriented Data Scientist to join our team in Riyadh, working on high-impact data and AI use cases that directly support our banking client’s strategic goals—including driving revenue growth, improving pricing strategies, and optimizing costs. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions and AI models across a variety of business use cases.

You will also play a key role in monitoring the performance and business impact of the solutions you help deploy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and implement data-driven solutions to address business challenges in the banking sector.
• Develop and deploy predictive and machine learning models, including:
• • Client propensity models (e.g., likelihood to purchase credit cards or loans)
  • Next Best Oer (NBO) models
  • Price elasticity models
  • Analyze unstructured, transactional and behavioral data to generate actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and consultants to identify, shape, and prioritize use cases.
  • Evaluate and monitor the impact of implemented use cases, such as tracking incremental sales or cost reductions.
• Contribute to ideation sessions and design workshops.
• Deliver high-quality work independently, under tight timelines.
• Communicate complex analytical insights in a clear and compelling manner to stakeholders and recommend innovative solutions to support data-driven decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, preferably in financial services or banking.
• Proficiency in core data science languages and tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, machine learning, NLP/GenAI and statistical analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business questions into technical solutions.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with DataRobot is a plus.
• Background in banking or financial analytics.
• Arabic language proficiency is a must.
