In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for inbound leads—guiding conversations, identifying real needs, and helping prospects take the next step toward life-changing decisions.

This is a relationship-first sales role where consistency, active listening, and process execution matter most. You’ll partner closely with our outside sales team to ensure each opportunity is understood, nurtured, and thoughtfully advanced.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inbound leads and inquiries with clarity, empathy, and professionalism
  • Make timely outbound dials and follow-ups to nurture open opportunities
  • Apply structured discovery using proven sales frameworks (e.g., NEPQ, Sandler, Challenger Seller) to uncover true needs and urgency
  • Set qualified meetings or follow-up calls for outside sales team members
  • Maintain detailed call notes and activity logs in Salesforce
  • Use Salesforce, RingCentral, and other tools to manage tasks, sequences, and pipeline visibility
  • Follow structured outreach cadences and contact attempts based on lead status and timing
  • Participate in regular coaching and team training sessions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of SDR, inside sales, or call center experience
  • Strong verbal communication and phone presence; professional writing ability
  • Demonstrated ability to actively listen and guide conversations
  • Familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, cloud-based communication tools, and productivity apps
  • Highly dependable and punctual—this role requires in-office attendance Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Self-starter who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Familiarity with NEPQ, Sandler Selling System, or other sales methodologies is a strong plus
  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, phone, printer, and copier
  • Occasional walking, standing, bending, and reaching as needed to access files or office supplies
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
  • Must be able to maintain focus in a busy office environment with moderate noise levels

What You Bring to True Legacy Homes
