Location: San Diego County

Schedule: Saturdays 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Sundays 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Wage Scale: $17.50 to $19.85 per hour

Employment Type:  Part-Time, Hourly-Non-Exempt

Reports to: Retail Sales Manager

Part-time positions typically range from 16 to 26 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on the needs of the business. Work schedules are published one week in advance.

Part-time team members are also eligible for mileage reimbursement, a $15 monthly cell phone reimbursement, and paid sick leave.

Job Summary:

True Legacy Homes is a rapidly growing company working to relieve the burden families in life transition endure during the liquidation of their family property. With the aging of the baby boomers, there is a massive opportunity ahead of us. The part-time Retail Associate position is responsible for the retail operations of the Estate Sale business including setup and merchandising, customer service, sales, and breakdown of events.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and operation of the Estate Sale.

• Stock supplies at the sale.

• Assisting prep & price of sale items.

• Work with team members to stage, prep, and price items for sale.

• Photograph items in the sale.

• Generate an itemized list of items.

• Create and hang signage throughout the home.

• Break down and clean up the sale after it is over.

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers.

• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Open availability (including weekends and holidays) to meet retail business needs.
• Experience working in a retail store ringing up customers, merchandising, and other related duties.
• Experience with customer service.

• Must have a high level of integrity.
• Ability to work efficiently.

• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent travel within the county and occasionally to neighboring counties.
• Prolonged periods of sitting, walking, and standing.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
• Bending, stooping, climbing ladders or stairs.
• Repetitive motions involving wrists, hands, fingers, and upper body.
• Ability to see and read computer screens, small electronic devices, and maps.
• Ability to detect specific noises for proper equipment operation.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.

Work Environment:

• Work may involve exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, loud noise, or chemicals.
