Schedule: Monday through Friday

Travel: 20-30% to neighboring counties

Base Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 (salaried/exempt)

Our services include:

 

  • Estate Sale Services – Professional estate sale management helping families responsibly and respectfully liquidate personal property across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles County.
  • Residential Home Acquisition & Renovation – We purchase single-family homes and renovate them with a thoughtful, design-forward approach. Our projects are not fast “fix-and-flips,” but carefully executed renovations that honor craftsmanship and long-term value.
  • Care Placement Services – Acting as a trusted resource, we help families find vetted and reputable care facilities for their loved ones.
  • Aging in Place Renovations – Home modifications that allow independent clients to live safely and comfortably in their homes, such as converting a traditional tub/shower into a walk-in shower with grab bars and accessibility features.
  • Traditional Real Estate & Design Services – We offer traditional listing services, as well as renovation and design services for families looking to update and modernize their homes.

Job Summary:

 

True Legacy Homes is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across our existing territories and help position the company for expansion into new markets. This role works closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, builds strategic referral relationships, and represents all lines of business under the True Legacy Homes umbrella.

 

The Business Development Manager will be accountable for territory performance, relationship development, pipeline growth, and weekly reporting to the leadership team. This is a high-impact role ideal for a professional who excels at relationship-based selling, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Develop and execute business development strategies across San Diego, Orange County, and Los Angeles County

·       Build and maintain strong referral partnerships with professionals such as attorneys, fiduciaries, real estate professionals, care managers, and community organizations

·       Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to align outreach efforts, campaigns, and lead generation strategies

·       Represent all True Legacy Homes service lines with a consultative, solutions-based approach

·       Track activity, opportunities, and outcomes; provide clear, data-driven weekly reports to the leadership team

·       Identify opportunities for growth, market penetration, and future geographic expansion

·       Attend networking events, industry functions, and community meetings as a brand ambassador

·       Maintain accurate CRM records and sales documentation

·       Travel regularly within assigned counties (approximately 15 - 25%)

·       Uphold True Legacy Homes’ values, professionalism, and commitment to exceptional client experience

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management (Real Estate, senior services, home services, or professional services experience is a plus).
  • Proven success in territory-based growth and referral-driven business development
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple service ines and priorities.
  • Highly proficient in software: Salesforce, MS Outlook, Excel.
  • Knowledge of healthcare and eldercare landscape.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to communicate with and relate to a diverse staff, business professionals, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
  • Flexibility to adapt changing priorities and handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behavior in handling sensitive information.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, occasional walking or standing.
  • Required driving within assigned territories.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 15lbs.
  • Bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and repetitive motion may be required.
  • Visual and hearing requirements for computer use and equipment operation.
