Johnson Lambert LLP is currently seeking an Accounting/Finance Intern to join our internal accounting department. We pride ourselves in creating the opportunity for interns to gain hands-on work experience. You will learn firsthand what it means to be part of the accounting team in a mid-sized business. This internship will entail 10-15 hours per week with flexible start and end dates.

This internship opportunity offers a comprehensive and well-rounded experience in the internal accounting field. You will work closely with the finance team on managerial accounting tasks, including accounts payable and assisting in month-end close procedures. Additionally, you will gain exposure to the day-to-day operations that are essential to the smooth functioning of our accounting department within the organization.

Qualifications & Selection Process

We look for candidates with:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR
• Relevant working experience in the industry
• A strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Duties include:

• General Accounting & Reporting
• Accounts Payable processing
• Vendor onboarding
• Year end 1099 preparation
