Johnson Lambert LLP is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This internship opportunity offers a comprehensive and well-rounded experience in the Human Resources field. You will work closely with the recruiting team to attract, source, and hire top-tier talent for our firm. Additionally, you will collaborate with the HR Operations team to gain exposure to the day-to-day operations that are essential to the smooth functioning of our organization.


Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with the creation and posting of job descriptions
  • Sourcing potential candidates using various recruiting tools and platforms
  • Scheduling and coordinating interviews
  • Participating in candidate assessment and selection processes
  • Assisting with onboarding activities for new hires
  • Maintaining and updating candidate records in our applicant tracking system
  • Supporting HR Operations with administrative tasks and special projects
  • Contributing to HR initiatives and process improvements

As an Intern supporting the Human Resources team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of recruiting events
  • Engage with potential candidates through various communication channels
  • Support the Recruiting and HR Operations teams in administrative tasks
  • Maintain candidate and employee records

Qualifications & Selection Process


We look for candidates with:

  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Ability to work 15 hours per week, with an expectation of working at least 2 hours per day Monday - Friday  
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems, and meet deadlines

We value your time and have built the selection process to reflect that. Our process is simple; you will begin the selection process with an application that is individually reviewed by our Recruiting team and a phone interview to best understand your background, skillset, and qualifications. The interview process will continue with a conversation with our Senior HR Generalist and Recruiting Manager, and after that, decisions will be made and the Recruiting team will be sure to close the loop with all candidates.
