Modern Executive Solutions is looking for a passionate Associate Director who is eager to make an impact and grow within a collaborative and innovative environment.  

 

You will play a pivotal role in delivering talent, advisory and intelligence solutions. This means delivering accurate intelligence to the client providing both competitive insights and candidate context in support of creating well thought-out sourcing strategies aligned to client expectations. As an Associate Director, you utilize internal and external networks systematically mapping through each of the target companies to ensure research is thorough and complete.

Knowledge Needed for the Role 

  • Talent and Organization Strategy: A foundational understanding of executive search, talent strategy, and organizational design processes 
  • Business Development: Knowledge of how to support business development efforts, such as preparing proposals, researching markets, and developing client strategies. 
  • Data Analysis and Market Insights: Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret market trends, client needs, and organizational challenges to inform decision-making and strategies. 
  • DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion): Familiarity with DEI best practices and a commitment to promoting diverse leadership and talent in organizations. 

Skills Needed for the Role 

  • Problem Solving: Proficient at defining a problem statement, structuring a problem analysis, developing solution options and selecting a course of action.  
  • Analytical Thinking & Data Management: Skilled at collecting and analyzing large data sets, conducting research, and visualizing insights to drive strategic recommendations. Able to look at both qualitative and quantitative data and infer insights. Strong numerical and qualitative reasoning. 
  • Client Engagement/Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, internal and external, understand their unique needs, and offer customized recommendations that drive results. 
  • Project Management: The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality work is delivered on time and within scope. 
  • Market Research and Data Management: Skilled in researching and collecting large data sets, analyzing and visualizing insights to drive strategic recommendations. 
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Experiences Needed for the Role 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, social science, finance, data science or equivalent. 
  • Work Experience: demonstrated experience in executive search, consulting, human resources, or related fields.  
  • Client Interaction: Experience in a client-facing role, contributing to business development efforts, preparing proposals, and participating in client meetings is highly desirable. 
  • Proficiency with Office Tools: Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create client-ready documents, presentations, and data analyses.
