About the role


We are hiring an Executive Assistant to support Hipcamp’s CEO and executive team. Our ideal candidate will thrive in our innovative, fast-paced, and dynamic organization, expanding their skills and abilities in pace with the company.

What you'll do

  • Manage the CEO's complex calendar using knowledge of company priorities. 
  • Act as gatekeeper, time-advocate, and liaison for the CEO.
  • Create presentation materials and facilitate all hands, fireside talks, and other forums.
  • Organize the CEO's communications, including emails and presentations.
  • Lead the start-to-finish planning and execution of internal events such as team and global offsites.
  • Organize the CEO's business and personal travel (flights, hotels, ground transportation, etc.). 
  • Drive and project manage strategic company initiatives such as, quarterly and annual planning and goal setting, alongside the executive team. 
  • Translate company projects into long-term strategic and operational plans.
  • Identify problems where systems can be created to maximize CEO and company efficiency. Effectively evaluate solutions and implement effective fixes.
  • Contribute to strategic conversations, facilitating productive dialogue and ensuring alignment and follow-through.
  • Be a culture contributor: Oversee department culture initiatives, track, highlight, and celebrate important team cultural/career moments.


Qualifications

  • 4+ years of related work experience and general knowledge working with a CEO or similar executive(s).
  • Ability to work Pacific Time Zone hours and availability to perform job duties outside of normal business hours when necessary.
  • Excellent calendar management skills, including coordinating complex meetings and designing scalable operating cadences.
  • Excellent organization skills and acute attention to details.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of G-Suite.
  • Confident self-starter who can take a task and run with it with limited supervision from executive.
  • Able to anticipate your executive's problems and/or needs and proactively offer solutions and make recommendations.
  • Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced working environment.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to address and resolve unexpected challenges. 
  • Maintain a strict level of confidentiality and exhibit sound judgment in handling sensitive information.

Compensation will be a mix of salary and stock options. It will be highly competitive compared to similar-stage companies and based on location.

The pay range for this role is:

76,000 - 107,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
