Sales Operations Analyst

The Opportunity

The Sales Operations Analyst will support the Business Development team by providing reliable data, reporting, and process support that improves how Root’s go-to-market teams operate. This position plays a critical supporting role in maintaining data accuracy, building reporting infrastructure, and coordinating key operational workflows that help the broader BD organization execute efficiently. Success in this role means enabling faster decision-making, improving CRM and reporting reliability, and helping frontline teams spend more time on partner engagement and revenue generation.


Salary Range:  $62,300 - $77,900 (STI eligible)

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Partner with Sales Operations leadership to maintain accurate reporting and performance metrics for the Business Development organization.
  • Assist in preparing data and analyses that inform planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate updates to key business records and ensure consistency across systems and reports.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between Business Development, Finance, and Analytics to align on insights and goals.
  • Help identify opportunities to simplify or improve recurring processes and reporting workflows.
  • Contribute to building materials and insights that strengthen team readiness and partner engagement.


What You Will Need to Succeed

  • 2+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or data analysis preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, communicate insights clearly, and turn findings into selling stories.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and hygiene.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and data visualization tools (such as Mode, Tableau, or Looker), with comfort learning new systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Monday.com preferred), including maintaining records, building reports, and implementing features based on team feedback.
  • Collaborative approach with a willingness to support multiple teams and priorities.
  • Organized and dependable, with strong follow-through and communication skills.
