Project Manager: 

Journal Technologies is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Litigation Team. This role is critical to ensuring timely, scoped, and high-quality project delivery post-implementation for customers. This is not just a traditional PM role—it’s an opportunity to act as a strategic executor, bridging business needs with technical delivery, and directly shaping how justice agencies interact with modern technology solutions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Establishes project goals, objectives and requirements, tracks and reports project status. 
  • Monitors and reports the progress of all project activity, including significant milestones, and any conditions that affect project cost or schedules. 
  • Advises the client and company management of project risks in a timely manner. 
  • Analyzes and reports actual performance against the plan, recommending adjustments consistent with plan objectives. 
  • Creates communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues and assures timely adaptive action is taken. 
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project documentation. 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or similar position responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team centered environment 
  • Proven track record of managing multiple large implementations, meeting strict deadlines, identifying potential issues and controlling scope creep 
  • Proficiency in project/program management methodologies and practices 
  • Knowledge of, and competency in, project management processes, including planning tasks, allocating resources, risk management, issues management, time management, financial management, team management, quality management, monitoring and reporting and documentation 
  • Demonstrates accountability, responsibility, and a passion for project management 
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude 
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized 
  • Ability to plan and facilitate effective meetings 
  • Strong communication skills for working with internal and external clients 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira and Project/PPM applications  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Agile SCRUM/Kanban methodology preferred 
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
